Now, thanks to a spate of new openings at the far end of Court Street and in Red Hook, that’s changing. The new crop offers the best of the laid-back, unpretentious Brooklyn vibe with a bit of fine-dining dazzle and small-business labor-of-love thrown in. Yes, it makes everything taste better.
